Welcome Week is the time for you to become a Lancer! It is a first year undergraduate orientation program that will prepare you for starting classes in September. There are both social and academic events that will help you make friends, learn about what resources are available on campus and get to know your professors.
Check out our River Games event on Monday, September 5th at Assumption Park. At River Games, you will be paired with upper year students in your faculty and participate in fun carnival, inflatable games all day long. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as a cool t-shirt and a free orientation kit!
The Involvement Fair on Tuesday, September 6th at 12pm in the David Wilson Commons and showcases all our student clubs, societies and volunteer opportunities available on campus. This is a great place for you get involved in campus life and learn about the many campus resources we have available to students. Lunch will be provided.
Welcome Week concludes with Welcome Day on Wednesday. Welcome Day consists of your Program Orientation and our annual Welcoming Celebration at 3pm in the Toldo Lancer Centre. Check out Welcome Day for further details about the timing and location of your Program Orientation. We will announce the winner of our $4000 tuition draw at the Welcoming Celebration!!

The winners will have a chance to crown their faculty the greatest, as well as receiving the Lancer Shield and a commemorative plaque that will be hung up in a place of prominence on campus. Also the winning team will win awesome prizes and achieve UWindsor immortality.
