Yahia Abdelbar is a dedicated and accomplished finance professional with a strong academic background and extensive work experience in the field. He achieved All-But-Dissertation (ABD) Ph.D. status at Wayne State University in Detroit, USA, specializing in finance.
He has been recognized for his exceptional research potential and was awarded the 2022 Thomas C. Rumble Fellowship at Wayne State University. Yahia is actively involved in academia as an instructor for various finance and accounting courses at the University of Windsor, Wayne State University, and St. Clair College. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, Yahia also contributes to the academic community as a peer reviewer for prestigious journals such as the International Journal of Finance & Economics and the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance.

"Born in Windsor, Ontario, Craig graduated from the University of Toronto (Hons B.A.) in Political Economics. He holds an L.L.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School (York University). After completing his studies, Craig returned to the Essex County area to practice law.
He articled for legendary litigator Harvey T. Strosberg at Gignac Sutts (now Strosberg Sasso Sutts LLP) and stayed at the firm for over 25 years. It was during this time that he developed a close relationship with Edward Ducharme, who was an English Professor at the University of Windsor, as well as a practicing lawyer.
Prof. Ducharme was a model educator who believed that teaching was the most noble and rewarding of professions. He imparted this knowledge and belief to Craig, who in 2001, started as a sessional lecturer of his own at the University of Windsor. Courses of instruction since that time include Labour Relations and Employment Law, Law and Business Administration, (both at the Odette School of Business) as well as Civil Trial Advocacy at the Faculty of Law. Craig recently was named as an instructor of Corporate Governance within the Master of Management Program.
In January of 2018, Craig decided to pursue the practice of law on his own but continues as a sessional lecturer at the Odette School of Business."
Kemi S. Anazodo, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor. Dr. Anazodo's research primarily focusses on giving voice to marginalized and stigmatized persons navigating employment, and the employment process. Through this work, Dr. Anazodo integrates mixed methodologies to explore social phenomena such as identity, equity, and stigma and explore how individuals navigate the complexity of their experiences in employment. Dr. Anazodo's research captures experiences of, and processes involved in integrating and reintegrating justice-involved persons into employment. Dr. Anazodo is currently leading a SSHRC funded project: A Second Chance in Sight: Employer Perspectives of Employment for Individuals with a Criminal History, which involves capturing the perspectives of Canadian HR professionals and organizational leaders towards hiring justice involved persons.
Dr. Fazle Baki is a Professor at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada. He earned, a Ph.D. in Applied Operations Research at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada in 1999. He is cross appointed with the Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering (MAME). He has served on the Board of Governors as a Senate representative. He served several boards of non-profit and charitable organizations and committees of the city and police services. His research interests include Computational Complexity, Metaheuristic Algorithms, Flexible Resource Scheduling, Operations Scheduling, Scheduling with Batching, Inventory Management, Traveling Salesman Problems, and Combinatorial Optimization. The algorithms he develops are usually based on mixed integer linear programming, dynamic programming, goal programming, and metaheuristic methods. Dr. Baki's research articles have appeared in European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, IEEE Transactions of Engineering Management, Operations Research Letters, Journal of the Operational Research Society, International Journal of Production Research, Computers and Operations Research, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Interfaces, Expert Systems with Applications, Journal of Manufacturing System, Health Care Management Science, and International Transactions in Operational Research.
Dr. Baki teaches courses in Supply Chain Area (Operations Management area). She has her PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Windsor and her M.A.Sc. in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. She came to Canada three decades ago from Bangladesh. Her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Dr. Baki promotes a respectful learning atmosphere by showing respect to students. She works to make students feel safe to participate. Since topics in technical subjects are not always very interesting to all, Dr. Baki introduces active learning methodologies including asking questions and having discussions during lectures, regular before and after lecture quizzes, use of collaborative classwork, case-based learning, think-pair-share, etc. She encourages students to participate in class so that they can learn from one another. Dr. Baki encourages students to take advantage of her office hours, course website discussion forum, email tools, etc.
Dr. Baki received Professor of the Year award in 2021 in Masters of Management program at the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor.
Dr. Brunet completed a PhD at the University of Toronto in Higher Education and Leadership, and a Master of Arts in Communication Technology from the University of Alberta.
As an instructor, he has taught courses such as Speech Communication to Inform, experiential learning courses titled Ways of Knowing and Ways of Doing, courses about the Human Development and Capabilities Approach, environmental communication, and courses about communication technology. Dr. Brunet leads the Outstanding Scholars program, The UWill Discover Sustainable Futures project and coordinates student leadership activities for the University of Windsor's Student Success and Leadership Centre. Dr. Brunet has presented at academic conferences throughout Canada, the US, New Zealand, Belgium, and the United Kingdom including the University of Oxford and the University College London.
As the Canadian representative for the North American Network of the Human Development and Capability Approach and a member of the International Leadership Association, he is connected to global networks that facilitate an inclusive approach to higher education instruction.

In 2018, Dr. Cohen returned from a twenty-nine-year residency in the People's Republic of China. His time in China included serving as the Director and Executive Vice-President of Universal Ideas Consultants Corp. For the past six years, Professor Cohen has been engaged as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Windsor, Odette School of Business. Courses of instruction within the Master of Management Program include International Business and Strategy Management.
His areas of specialization include entrepreneurship, SME start-ups and operations, and market research. Ira is the recipient of the 2022 Global Forum Robert Dilworth Award for Exceptional Contribution to Transformational Change, Leadership Development and Business Driven Action Learning. Cohen also received the 'Global Research Excellence Award' from the World Institute for Action Learning, and the CCH 'Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to HR in China and Hong Kong.”

"Zaher Charara has a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Business Strategy and Supply Chain Management from Grenoble Ecole de Management in France. He also has a Master of Science from the University of Florida, and an MBA in International Marketing from the University of California at Irvine. He is certified from APICS Association in Supply Chain Management. His research is in business strategy and supply chain collaboration. A recent journal article ready for publication is entitled “Exploring the effects of supply chain visibility on company performance and strategic competitive advantage in fast fashion”.
Zaher Charara's corporate experience (at Fortune 100 companies in USA) is complemented with teaching in Business schools (undergraduate and graduate) the following courses: business strategy, strategic management, marketing management, supply chain management, and operations management. He also supervised graduate students in their research and thesis, and delivered training workshops in marketing, strategy, and supply chain management to professionals and managers at major corporations in the Middle East."
Mr. Fenn was a senior finance executive in the automotive industry for 28 years until retirement. He holds under-graduate and graduate degrees and diplomas from the University of Windsor and Western University. Mr. Fenn is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (Ontario, FCA, FCMA, FCGA) and Certified Public Accountant (Michigan) and has completed CPA Canada's tax specialty programs. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute, Canadian Securities Institute and is a Fellow Chartered Governance professional granted through the Canadian Governance Institute of Canada. He has completed executive programs at Western University, INSEAD (Paris) and IMD (Switzerland) and certificates in adjudication and securities law from Osgoode Law School.
Mr. Fenn is formerly the Global Group Assistant Treasurer of DaimlerChrysler LLC and Cerberus-Chrysler in Auburn Hills, Michigan and New York, and Vice President and CFO/Treasurer of Canadian operations. He was the Chief Compliance Officer of the company's global funded trusts including its pension plans and Financial Controller of benefit plans and a member of the Global Benefits and Investment Strategy Committees. While at Chrysler, Mr. Fenn was involved in several operational units and was previously the Global Executive Director Corporate Financial Analysis, Accounting and External Reporting. He has financial planning and tax experience at KPMG Chartered Professional Accountants, RBC Dominion Securities and currently, Doher & Company Chartered Professional Accountants. He has also been involved in higher education teaching and course development for over 25 years.
Mr. Fenn is a former Commissioner and Board member with the Ontario Securities Commission in Toronto, Ontario and was the Chair of its Audit and Finance and Risk Committees. He is a board member of Enwin Utilities in Windsor, Ontario where he serves as Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. He is actively involved in several not-for-profit organizations as Audit Chair and CPA Canada programs in financial literacy, data analytics and cyber awareness for boards. Mr. Fenn was recently appointed to the Financial Services Tribunal of the Financial Services Regulatory Agency.
Brent Furneaux is an Associate Professor in the Management Science area at the Odette School of Business and is the Academic Director for Odette's Master of Management program. He received his Ph.D. from York University's Schulich School of Business and is currently pursuing research that seeks to better understand information system obsolescence, discontinuance, and the sustainability of technological innovations. His research interests also include the implications of financial technologies for the financial services industry and the use of business data analytics by private and public sector organizations. Brent's research has been published in a wide range of journals including MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Information and Management, and the Journal of Computer Information Systems as well as numerous book chapters and international conference proceedings.
Dr. Preetinder Kaur is an accomplished educator and researcher with a diverse background in academia and industry. In the Master of Management program, she teaches Marketing. She also teaches marketing courses outside the program at the University of Windsor.
Dr. Kaur earned her Ph.D. in Business and Technology with a specialization in Marketing from Iowa State University in 2022. Her research interests revolve around B2B strategy, the intersection of marketing and finance, and entrepreneurship in the retail sector. She is highly proficient in handling large-scale data and is skilled in designing experiments, econometric modeling, and empirical analysis.
Notably, Dr. Kaur has authored research papers and presented her work at various prestigious conferences. Her publication titled "The Chief Marketing Officer: An Antidote to Myopic Earnings Management Practices," was published in Marketing Letters in 2021. She has received several awards and fellowships, including the Graduate College Research Excellence Award at Iowa State University and fellowships at the AMA-Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium and Marketing Strategy Consortium.
In addition to her research accomplishments, she has taught a range of courses, including Sales and Distribution Strategy, Social Media Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, and Customer Relationship Management. She also has industry experience, including roles in educational services and B2C sales. She has lived and worked in India, New Zealand, UAE and USA, before moving to Canada.
Dr. Yawo Kobara is an Assistant Professor in the Management Science area at the Odette School of Business. He received his Ph.D. from Western University. His current research pursuits seek to better understand and optimize healthcare systems. Yawo’s research has been published in a wide range of journals including Operation Research for Healthcare, Healthcare Management, and Healthcare Systems. He has an extensive teaching and teaching related experience in various universities teaching Data Analysis, Business Analytic and Financial Engineering. He bring in a diversified wealth of knowledge and experience.

Today I am partner and Managing Director at PHROP, a leading systems integrator and software manufacturer of state-of-the-art tools and solutions. I also serve as Head of the Big Data Analytics Unit of the company, functioning as a Big Data Analytics / AI consultant, mentor, lecturer, and educator.
Under my last capacity, I have been actively lecturing on the full range of Big Data Analytics and Visualization courses at postgraduate programs in prestigious European and Nort American Academic Institutions.
I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc from the same institution. "Dr. Mostafa Moussa Mostafa Moussa is an experienced professional with a Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering. He has over 12 years of extensive teaching and teaching-related experience in various universities, specializing in industrial and management science courses such as Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. With over 12 years of teaching and research experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his field. Additionally, Dr. Moussa has a decade of professional experience applying operations management and statistical tools in both research and industrial projects.
Dr. Moussa works as a Management Professional at the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) in Michigan. In addition, Dr. Moussa holds positions as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and Senior Research Engineer at the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Centre in Windsor, Ontario. In these roles, he focused on Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing systems, product development, and manufacturing system modeling and optimization. He also incorporated advanced technologies like Data Mining and Machine Learning into manufacturing automation and product/system design.
Dr. Moussa earned his Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada. He also holds a Master's degree in Supply Chain and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt.
Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Moussa has received numerous accolades, including Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology, the Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and the Production and Operation Management Society (POMS) and was awarded the Emerging Economies Doctoral Student Award."
"With over 20 years of progressive management experience leading dynamic teams, Anne joined the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor in 2019 as a Sessional Lecturer. Courses taught within the Master of Management Program include Business Communications and Managing Employees.
Anne brings a unique skillset to the Master of Management Program, a skilled business communicator with expertise in operations management, corporate governance, strategic planning, relationship building, and risk management. At the University of Windsor, she has served as Manager Medical Education in the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, overseeing the operations of the Medical School, and as Accessibility and Human Rights Manager in the Office of Human Rights, Equity and Accessibility. Sandra completed her Honours Bachelor of Commerce (1988) and M.B.A. (1993) at the University of Windsor. Her 25 year business career included working across North America in local and national sales, managing an international sales team, and partnering in a new venture as an entrepreneur. Over this time, Sandra worked in the tourism, voice and data, broadcast media and healthcare fields.
Sandra's teaching career began as a sessional instructor from 2010 through 2012. At that time, she taught both marketing and management courses, with heavy emphasis in communication. By January 2015, she joined full-time faculty as our Business Communications Learning Specialist, Course Coordinator and Instructor. Sandra continues to volunteer on campus and within the Windsor/Essex community at events, on committees and as a board member.

Bill Orawski brings over 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, education, and senior management. He has been a sessional instructor at the University of Windsor for over 8 years and has taught in the Master of Management program for over 6 years. Bill has run operations in Canada and the United States as a CFO, with responsibility for staff of over 150 and budgets of over 100 million.
Bill holds an MBA from the University of Windsor and is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA). Bill is very excited to continue to work at the University and especially in the MOM program where he loves the diversity of the program and the student body.
Leann is a lawyer and instructor at the University of Windsor. She currently teaches in the undergraduate and Master of Management program at the Odette School of Business as well as in the JD program at the Faculty of Law. Leann completed an MBA from Odette in 2011, a JD from Windsor Law in 2015 and an LLM from the University of Toronto in 2021. Leann formerly served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of Windsor & Essex County. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the John Simpson Odette Student Investment Fund and is a Supervisor in the wills clinic in the Pro Bono Students Canada program at Windsor Law.
Dr. Shashi Shahi's area of specialization is Supply Chain and Operations Management. His research focuses on Supply Chain and Operations Management issues of the Canadian industry, with particular emphasis on handling the supply and demand uncertainties using simulation-based optimization models. Dr. Shahi specializes in integrating the entire supply chain using his expertise in Business Logistics Management, Business Data Analytics, Data Analytics in Project Management, Quantitative Studies, and Management Information Systems.
Dr. Shahi holds a Doctorate degree in Supply Chain Management and Masters degrees in Applied Engineering Science and Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Shahi has vast experience in teaching, research, and industry (including working for the United Nations).
Dr. Young Ho Song is an Assistant Professor in the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor. He received his Ph.D. in Management from McGill University, an M.I.L.R. degree from Cornell University, and an M.B.A. from the University of British Columbia. His research interests include workplace mistreatment, deviant behavior, and human-technology interaction, especially in the service industry. His work has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Service Industries Journal, Canadian Journal of Administrative Science, and Pacific Asia Journal of the Association for Information Systems.
Michele Stewart has been a lecturer at the Odette School of Business for the last 5 years, where she teaches a variety of Marketing courses – Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, International Marketing and Advertising.
Michele brings a wealth of industry experience to Odette. She spent the first part of her career in Marketing Research and Brand Management positions with Fortune 500 Companies Nabisco (Christie Brown Division) and Allied Domecq PLC (parent company of Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd.). Michele later ran Sentiens Research, a boutique marketing research firm and was a partner in Hargreaves Stewart, a Windsor-based advertising agency. Bringing marketing concepts to life by using real-world examples – particularly those from her own experience – is a core pillar of Michele's teaching philosophy.
Michele holds a Masters of Integrated Marketing Communications degree from Marist University in New York. Michele has served on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association (Detroit Chapter) and has held designations as a Certified Marketing Research Professional in both Canada and the United States. Currently, Michele is a managing partner with Jump Marketing, a local marketing firm that offers consulting services to small businesses.
Hanan Swidan is a passionate Data Analytics professor renowned for her expertise in leveraging mathematical principles to gain deeper intellect from complex datasets. Her deep understanding of statistical methods and advanced modeling techniques empower her ability to extract meaningful information that drives informed decision-making processes.
Currently on the verge of completing her doctoral studies in Business Administration, Hanan's research is focused on developing innovative statistical methods and algorithms to optimize data analysis processes across diverse fields. Her work aims to revolutionize the way data is analyzed and utilized in the business world.
For the past decade, Hanan has actively engaged in teaching and mentoring students, utilizing her ability to effectively convey complex concepts in the field of Data Analytics. Over the past five years, she has dedicated her expertise to teaching this subject, equipping her students with the necessary skills to thrive and excel in an increasingly data-driven world.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Hanan has collaborated with industry professionals on numerous data analytics projects. Her unique perspective and applied approach have allowed her to provide innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Through these collaborations, she has demonstrated her ability to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
Dr. Teplovs is an accomplished data scientist and software engineer, having developed several large-scale architectures to support the creation of new knowledge and innovation, and focusing on analytics-driven decision making. His work and research interests include information architecture design, quantitative analyses, automated content analysis, dynamics of learning networks, design and implementation of assessment tools and metrics, and information visualization.
He has been a faculty member at the University of Toronto (Canada), the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (France), Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and the University of Michigan (USA). He brings over 30 years of teaching experience to his classes in the Business Data Analytics stream.
Dr. Teplovs holds a B.Sc., M.A, and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
"Ted has over 30 years of experience as an in-house and external consultant, trainer, and facilitator to a diverse range of for-profit, non-profit, and public sector organizations -- from the automotive, mold making, airline, power generation, petrochemical, agricultural, and telecommunications industries, to corrections, education, mental health, child welfare, hospital, public health and first responder sectors. Ted specializes in leadership development, adaptive strategic planning, dispute resolution, intervention in and prevention of workplace violence, identifying and counteracting individual and systemic abuses of power, and culture transformation.
Ted has a Specialized Honours B.A. in Psychology from York University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology, with a specialization in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, from the University of Windsor. His practical leadership and managerial experience include serving as Chief Training Officer of an Air Force officer candidate training school, as Executive Director of a mental health centre, and as Executive Partner of Vokes Leadership Group. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the Psychology Department and at the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor. Ted is a lead Trainer, Facilitator, and Executive Coach for St. Clair College's Micro-Credential Certificate Programs in Leadership & Culture Management."
Dr Peter Voyer is an associate professor of marketing at the Odette School of Business.
Prior to entering academia, Dr Voyer was a senior artillery officer in the Canadian Army where he held numerous high-level leadership appointments. He has lived and worked in every region of Canada and traveled throughout the world as he engaged in his military assignments, which included a variety of domestic and international operations. He served in Afghanistan as a member of the Canadian Joint Task Force, where he worked with armies from a coalition of nations.
Dr Voyer's academic background is diverse. He earned two undergraduate degrees: BSc in mathematics and physics, and BA in psychology. During his tenure in the army, Dr Voyer was selected for sponsored MBA and PhD studies and subsequently graduated from the Ivey Business School, Western University. He then transitioned from operational duties to academic work during the latter part of his military career. He has served on faculties at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMCC), and King's University College.
Currently, Dr Voyer teaches marketing, consumer behaviour, and service marketing at the graduate and undergraduate levels. In addition to writing academic teaching cases, he is a highly active researcher within the domains of: service marketing, word of mouth processes, and scale development. His work has been published in a variety of top-tier scholarly and practitioner journals including: the Journal of Service Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Advances in Consumer Research, and the Ivey Business Journal.
As a former career military officer, and now university professor, Dr Voyer has devoted his entire working life to the service of others.
Dr Walker is a professor at the Odette School of Business where he has worked since 2010. He teaches Business Ethics and Environmental Sustainability, Social Entrepreneurship in Costa Rica, and Business Strategy. He completed his PhD in management at the University of Manitoba. His research specializes in environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility. He's also part owner of two local businesses, a hockey coach, a yoga instructor, and has written a book on meditation.
Paul is an accomplished, results-driven HR Executive with a 25+ year history of facilitating transformative change and performance improvement in the aerospace, consumer packaging and food and beverage industries. He led the People function at Mcdonnel Douglas Aerospace-Columbus, Pepsi Canada West, Hiram Walker and Sons Ltd, Corby Spirit and Wine, and Pernod-Ricard North America where he aligned HR with the core vision and strategic targets of the enterprise. Through-out this career, Paul has been dedicated to remaining at the forefront of an ever-evolving function through continuous learning and experimentation on new practices and divergent thinking. This passion included investing a large amount of time coaching and developing his team. He brings this same conviction to the Odette School of Business and the MM program. Paul has a Bachelor's of Honour degree from Laurentian University, an MBA from McMaster University with specialization in HR and labour Relations, and completed leadership programs at Babson College, Wellesley MA and the INSEAD Busienss School in Fontainebleau, France.
Dr. Wilson joined the Odette School of Business in the Summer of 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Marketing, after 7 years at Central Michigan University. Prior to pursuing an academic career, Dr. Wilson worked as an Environmental Engineer. In 2012, he completed an MBA specializing in Sustainability from the University of British Columbia, and in 2019 he completed a Ph.D in Marketing from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
Dr. Wilson’s current research interests include the circular economy, reverse logistics, and the intersection of technology and marketing. His work has been published in numerous outlets including Psychology & Marketing, Business Horizons, and European Journal of Marketing.
Dr. Wilson teaches marketing classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
