I love the University of Windsor because it has allowed me to be in touch with the Windsor's multicultural community, giving me the opportunity to learn about other cultures and to share my culture with peers around the world. The staff has always made us feel welcome with their excellent attitude and providing us with outstanding online tools for learning.

I came to Windsor from The Bahamas and was enrolled in the Communications, Media and Film program. I would like to tell my fellow international students to use the resources that the school offers to get better adjusted, and don’t be afraid to step out of your shell because your university experience should be a memorable one! If you intend to stay in Canada, I would say apply for your Post Graduate Work Permit immediately after you complete your studies, then start looking for jobs in and outside your field because sometimes jobs in your field require experience that can be acquired elsewhere. Employers value experience and sometimes you can also find your passion in a career you never thought you would pursue.
