As per the March 31 announcement, the University of Windsor COVID-19 Vaccination Policy is currently suspended.
Based on the recommendation of the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) and in alignment with numerous post-secondary institutions across the province, the University of Windsor’s Mandatory Mask Policy will remain in effect until further notice.
Masks remain required in all indoor settings and are strongly recommended outdoors where maintaining a distance of at least 2 metres is difficult.
Based on the local public health unit's recommendation, and in the spirit of keeping our campus and community safe, the University of Windsor reminds the UWindsor community and visitors of your individual responsibility to comply with the on-campus mask requirement to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and infection.
More information regarding our COVID-19 policy can be found here.To further support the health and safety of our faculty, staff and students, the University of Windsor requires all employees, students, visitors and contractors to wear a mask or face covering when entering all campus buildings and in common spaces where physical distancing may be difficult (entrances, exits, hallways, stairwells, lounges, washrooms and elevators).
