Advance your skills with the Engineering Technology degree. If you have an 3-year, advanced technology diploma, or a degree in a scientific or technical subject, this program is for you. Follow one of the specializations: mechatronics, mechanical, civil or stay in the general stream. Learning from our exceptional profs benefits you when preparing to write the PEng exams. This one-year program will give you more career mobility.
Sample Courses: Engineering Management & lobalization, Treatment of Experimental Data, Advanced Engineering & Design, Engineering Economy, Planning and Construction Management
Career Tracks: Industrial engineering technologist, mechanical designer, energy auditor, civil engineering technologist, mechatronics systems technologist
Professional Designation Possible: PEng (Professional Engineer) with additional exams as prescribed by provincial professional engineering organization.
* The Mechatronics Engineering Stream includes a weekend class option. Classes are offered Fridays between 5 and 8 p.m. and Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to accommodate the schedules of working professionals.
Requirements: One of following: a three-year technology diploma from a Canadian college (or an equivalent overseas institution); or a four-year degree in a scientific or technical subject from an accredited Canadian university (or an equivalent overseas institution).
Minimum Average: 70%
Recommended Average: Because of the limited number of seats available, a 75% average is recommended
Mean Average (Entering Fall 2019): 86%
