How to Apply to an Undergraduate Program if you're from outside of Canada

Apply through OUAC

Step 1

Apply Direct or through OUAC

If you reside outside of Canada or the United States and are not a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident, apply directly to UWindsor with a lower application fee through the UWindsor International Application website powered by the OUAC here.

Alternatively, if you plan to apply to more than one Ontario university, apply through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website using the 105 application form.

Applications should be submitted before July 1, 2021 for registration in the Fall term to ensure sufficient time for admission and student visa processing times.

Please submit a transcript or grade report from your secondary school for the purpose of assessment. Evaluation and offers may be made on early or unofficial transcripts, but a final official transcript is required to confirm your admission.

Activate your UWin Account using the information provided in your application acknowledgement email.

Log in to UWinsite Student to complete your To Do List – including uploading documents as needed and monitoring the status of your application.

English Language
Improvement Program


International students who do not meet the English language proficiency requirement may be accepted into their program on the condition they complete the English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) before starting their degree. ELIP is UWindsor’s English pathway.
